I think it’s a pretty simple statement of two things: support and accountability. Support meaning “I believe in you, I will equip you, I will help you, tell me what you need, I want to help you get there” and then accountability meaning YOU have to get there.
This is a meet in the middle type of thing and the job is the job, the expectation is the expectation. We both know that. And I will do my part 100% – you’ve got to do your part 100%. And sadly, it’s not like a lot of jobs where I showed up, I pushed the button, I did what you told me to do.
A sales role, for better or for worse (I think for better) is outcome oriented.
