Introducing Colleague Personalization
We shipped a snappy new feature a couple weeks back called colleague personalization.
It works like this:
- You upload prospects to a segment. Some companies will have more than one prospect — e.g. Buck Strickland (CEO), Joe Jack (Dir Sales), and Hank Hill (VP Sales), all at Strickland Propane.
- RevBoss will recognize companies that have more than one prospect and automatically build {{colleague}} merge fields for all of the prospects.
- From the example above, this means that Buck Strickland will have auto-merge fields for Joe Jack and Hank Hill. (Joe will have merge fields for Buck and Hank. And Hank will have merge fields for Buck and Joe.)
- RevBoss automatically cleans up all of the names, so you don’t need to worry about things like “MBA” or middle initials included in the merged names.
All of this lets you effortlessly (and confidently) create personalization snippets like:
“Hi Buck. I thought you might be the right contact, but I also reached out to Joe and Hank.”
“Hi Buck. Are you the right contact? Or should I contact Joe Jack or Hank Hill?
“Hi Buck. I reached out to Hank last week, thought I’d reach out to you also.”
You get the idea. 🙂
These personalized snippets accomplish a few key objectives:
- Your messages are more personalized…with close-to-zero effort.
- Your outreach is more credible because you’ve done your homework…also with close-to-zero effort.
- Your messages result with more internal referrals — e.g. “Yes — you should contact Joe Jack.”
Let us know what you think. Enjoy!
